The Catskill Mountains are full of natural beauty, and studies have shown that people are attracted to what grows around them. At Kate’s Herbals, the philosophy is closely related to the natural world and believe that less is more. All too frequently, beauty products have a long list of “beneficial” and “natural” ingredients, claiming miraculous results. While these small amounts of blended ingredients may be of some benefit, Kate’s carefully infused and simple herbal plants that are mindfully harvested from the Catskills, pack a powerful punch.
All of Kate’s Herbals products are handmade in small batches to assure safety and freshness.

About Kate Damestoy
I grew up coming to the Catskills every summer from NYC, and considered it home in so many ways. Nature was my playground, and I loved the outdoors ever since I could remember. My grandmother was heavily into alternative healing and herbs and shared some of her knowledge with me, but I did not get into it until serious illness in the family came about. After that, I studied and read every book I could get my hands on, and became a self taught herbalist. I started working in the Health Food store industry, and was well versed in supplements, the vitamin companies, and natural beauty products.
Six years ago, I moved up to my beloved Catskill Mountains permanently. I live in the back woods, with plenty of land to hike and wild craft the beautiful herbs and plants that grow here. After a bout of Neurological Lyme that disabled me for two years, I began the journey of healing myself, and in the process, started Kate’s Herbals in 2016, with three products: Two Bug and Tick repellents, and Bug Bite Relief. It has grown since, into skin and body care, relief products, and dried herb tea combinations-I also do custom orders when I can accommodate. I sell at local Farmer’s Markets and Events, and run the Roscoe NY Farmers Market May through October, and find myself very grateful that I do what I love in the place I feel most comfortable in.
